Sandra Jean Martin (née Lustic)

Sandra passed away peacefully with family by her side on September 5, 2026 at Joseph Brant Hospital.

A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Sandra lived for the little things in life — always putting family before herself. She will be forever loved by her husband of 62 years, James “Woody”; daughter Teresa (Yves); and grandchildren Brandon (partner Emie) and Danielle. Sandra deeply loved her grandchildren Brandon and Danielle. Their journey into adulthood provided her with extreme joy and pride. Sandra and Woody were blessed to celebrate their 62nd wedding anniversary together with hospital staff on August 22nd, a milestone that meant the world to both Sandra and Woody. Predeceased by her parents, Sidney and Helen, and siblings Sidney, Donna, and Winston. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

The family is deeply grateful to the nurses, doctors, and care teams at Joseph Brant Hospital and St. Elizabeth Home Health Care for their compassion, kindness, and support shown to our family. Special thanks to Danielle for her many hospital visits, as well as to Danielle and Teresa for their overnight stays with Sandra until her passing. Special thanks also to Brandon for his thoughts, concerns, and phone calls to Grandma.
