Harry began work in the bereavement sector in 2015, starting out as a Director's Assistant at funeral homes in Toronto and Mississauga.
 

A growing interest in holistic deathcare led him to get certified in 2017 as a Contemplative End-of-Life Care doula (Institute of Traditional Medicine), and then in 2019 he received his license from Humber College to practice as a Funeral Preplanner and Transfer Services Sales Representative.
 

Since 2020 Harry has worked creatively alongside his partner Kate with their Hamilton-based life celebrations floral business, Sticks & Stones Floral Design. 

Outside of work Harry enjoys playing recreational soccer with friends, as well as spending time with Kate and their two children Jude and Elphi.

 I bring with me the experience of a 25+ year career in health care, specializing in end of life and dementia care. In early 2024 I left my position as a palliative nurse and enrolled at Humber College to begin a rewarding new career as a Funeral Pre-Planner. In my free time I love hanging out with my grandchildren, enjoying great food, and riding rollercoasters.

Kate is a Funeral Director’s Assistant at Sanctuary Cremation. With experience in the hospitality industry under her belt and 17 years as a special events designer for her own small business, Sticks and Stones Floral Design, Kate’s attention to detail and empathy allows her to meet client’s needs with care and compassion. Kate welcomes everyone who walks through our doors with heartwarming smile.
