Margaret A Percy (née Holmes)
December 23, 1943 - May 16, 2026
Peacefully at home with her family by her side, on May 16, 2026, in her 83rd year.
She was the youngest daughter of the late Sydney and Bessy Holmes. She is now
reunited with her beloved son, Rusty, and her daughter, Lynda. Grieving her departure
are her son Joe (Pauline), and her daughter-in-law Lori Kirk. She was a dedicated
grandmother to Ricky (Aron), Jenny (Jere), Steven, and Andrew (Jessica). Adored GG
and Gramma to Kloe (Eliot), Keirah, Scarlet, Kyleigh, and Nova. Her surviving siblings
Helen (David) Beach, and Robert (Elaine) Holmes will cherish and remember her
always. We are also comforted by the awaited reunion with her dear predeceased
siblings Arthur, Joyce, and Richard. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews,
extended family and friends, especially her furry companions Cosmo and Gizmo.
Growing up in northern Ontario before raising her family in Kingston, Marg had many
wonderful memories of her summers at Windy Lake with her family. Family, music and
sing-songs were the foundation in her life. Marg was an idealist who had a passion for
Bingo, history, reading mystery, and watching crime shows. Enjoying the simpler things
in life, truly defined her ability to listen and deeply care to all she encountered.
A sincere heartfelt thank you from the family to all those who were involved in Marg’s
care in her remaining months, her Nurse Prab, and PSWs Lulu, and Ashley for their
compassionate care, love and support.
As per Marg's wishes cremation has taken place with Sanctuary Cremation Services,
Waterdown. Funeral service will be held at Hannah Funeral Home, 6689 Wheeler

Growing up on Division Street, Marg was a big part of the Babcock girls life. She was funny and loving in many ways. Always on the look out for a good party she made the night fun. She loved her children and was always there for them. Later in life we connected through face book and had a few good conversations. We will miss you Marg.
Give Rusty and Lynda a hug.
